There really are just so many brands of ceiling fans to pore over today. Now the question is: With such a crowded market, how does any one company like Minka Aire Ceiling Fans set itself a part from all the others? Given that they really are all basically selling the same product?
The simple answer to that, is that for the most part they really don't. Of course there are exceptions but really they all pretty much do have what could be described as similar lines of products, in a similar range of prices.
So what this company has done to break from the pack is to offer a far more stylized fan that also happens by the way, to be a bit more expensive. They are however, very well built fans that incorporate quality materials. Motors, etc.
For the most, part Minka Aire fans fall into two categories and those would be modern contemporary and antique with a few Caribbean designs sprinkled in. What they don't have, is any of the more whimsical or childrens designs that you'll find with so many other fan companies.
Even so, what they do they do quite well. Their antique designs tend to be far more ornate then you will find with other fan companies and some of their polished nickel plate and stainless steel modern fans have an almost futuristic look to them.
Their model F596-BN is a stellar example of one of their more futuristic designs. It almost duplicates the effect of a space ship that appears to be coming in for a landing in a home. Complete with a spotlight on the bottom.
Then for an antiqued old world look, Minka Air Ceiling Fans captures the effect perfectly with their Los Lunas design, of which there are two separate models. They both feature rich antiqued bronze and age sculpted exposed wood grain.
