Harbor Breeze is the official ceiling fan house brand for the Lowe's chain of warehouse department stores, so you won't find any of their fans at any other community based outlet. However; the Lowe's chain does not manufacture them. Instead, like every other house brand that they carry, these fans are designed and manufactured by another entity that provides them to Lowe's. For Harbor Breeze ceiling fans, it's Litex Corp.
While Harbor Breeze does feature a complete lineup of well designed and built ceiling fans that cover the complete spectrum of decorator genres, including plantation, modern contemporary, colonial, basic white, tropical, etc. It's their level of affordabilty that this one brand is quite possibly most well known for. You see, Harbor Breeze trumps all when it comes to offering the absolute lowest priced fans, with some of their base models sporting price tags as low as $40 and often even less.
Do keep in mind however, that that's only their “rock bottom” base models that you're going to find with prices this low. Even so, as it pertains to their higher priced models they still do, on average come in lower in price than similar competing brands. At the same time, Harbor Breeze doe's offer a wide range of convenience features very similar to what you'll find elsewhere, including remote options, uplights, and Energy Star Labeling.
